Can someone tell me, do they notice any difference between the sound quality of the FMJ A32 and the FMJ A32 with the 7.1 channel module?

I'm asking this because I upgraded my FMJ32 to a FMJ32 7.1 and I'm sure it doesn't sound as good. The high frequencies seem to be less controlled.

Alternatively, I guess that I may have coincidently damaged the tweeters, around the same time I upgraded the Amplifier - or I'm just imagining it.

    Thanks in advance

I believe i read a review of the A90 (i think) with the 7.1 board, and they commented on a drop of stereo quality over the straight A90.

It was a while ago, so don't quote me.

In theory, I would expect the sound quality to reduce, because you are adding extra electrical items to the equation, after all switching off the LCD can have an effect. How many times have hifi companies talked about removing gizmo's to reduce the amount of sound distortion.
