    Hey everyone.

I thought I would come on here and see if anything else could help with a strange problem i'm having with the Sony KF-42SX300 Rear Projection and a Panasonic SCHT900 dvd home cinema system.

The problem I am having is that no sound will come from the Television speakers while watching a DVD.

The SCHT900 is connected via a RGB SCART, and I can say I have tried nearly every single setting and combination of leads I can think of to.

I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if there is a fault somewhere along the line.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    thanks!

Think you would have to narrow it down to the component thats not working or not working correctly. It is not a video only rgb lead that you have there is it ?
Have you tried using a different scartlead , and if thats still the same have you tried a different dvd player or skybox or freeviewbox for that matter ? Do you get sound then ?
I dont think you are giving us much to go on here
