    I currently have a Samsung PS42D5HX 42" plasma, with a sky+ box

Im now looking into buying a dvd player and surround sound package.
I understand that if i buy an all in 1 package then the audio o/p from the dvd will goto the surround speakers, but will it also work when watching the sky+?

If not can you buy a separate amp which will take inputs from both the dvd and the sky+ box??

    Thanks for any help
