I'm going to get a Marantz SR4200 receiver and also a standard sky installation package.

Would i be able to connect the sound produced from the sky receiver to the marantz receiver so i can use my external speakers?

Or would i need to opt for the sky+ package to output the sound?

The marantz has loads of inputs but i'm unsure of what outputs the sky receiver has.

    thanks for any help

Standard phono sockets for audio(stereo, surround etc), if you want a Dolby Digital you'll have to go for SKY+ or I think the SONY digigbox.

Only Sky + or the Sony will give you an optical output. Not too sure if Sky will give you a Sony for the free box as they are having trouble with it re new Personal Planner.
