Yes, I have. Technical quality has never been ITV's top priority.

Do you mean an occasional "wobble" in the sound? like when playing a music cassette, if so then I have the same thing. Its only started happening within the last week but I only noticed it on watching back recorded programmes. I thought that the hard drive was going, almost like it was "slipping" or jumping slightly but just affecting the picture.

I hadnt even noticed that it was ITV either until I read your post as it happened on X Factor, All about George and Loose Women, all ITV programmes.

What could be causing it to affect just one channel?

The sound has been rather distorted on some ITV stuff I've watched recently (not that I watch it that often).

I meant to put it in my last post, but today before reading this thread I noticed for the first time the noise distortion on non recorded programmes on ITV which really confused me as my theory was to do with the hard drive but that cant be the case with "live" viewing can it?

    Weird! Its quite irritating though!

Sounds like a problem at ITV's end.

I'm getting this sound fault on itv 103 (meridian south). But the itv region on channel 993 is ok. This is using a couple of standard skyboxes not sky+.

Looks like I will using 993 for the next few months as it takes them ages to fix problems like this.
