    Anyone knows how to unlock sound limit for Sony NW-E407 ?

    it's in the downloadable pdf instructions, but anyway


    don't have any music playing
    press and hold the *search*menu button for a few seconds
    scroll down to AVLS (automatic volume limit settings?)
    press the play button to select
    scroll the menu down to AVLS OFF
    press the play button to select
    press the *search*menu button a few times to go back up the menus
