I've just this week had Sky fitted but while i'm watching Sky and i can occasionally here a terrestrial channel faintly from my tv speakers.

Is there a way i can stop this as it gets quite irritating?

I had visual interfernece when watching sky from other channels. This was cured by upgrading my scart leads to good quality ones and doing the same for the RF leads, which now have in line chokes on them.

It might be your TV - I know some of the Sony sets used to suffer from this.

To test if it's your TV try changing to an untuned channel before switching to the SKY A/V.
If the background sound disappears it's your TV

My KV32FX60 used to do this, luckily we never watch terrestrial - everything is watched through SKY.
