I'm thinking of getting an external DVD drive for my HCPC (probably an Iomega Super DVD Writer)

I have an M-Audio Revolution sound card which does not have any internal inputs. With an internal DVD drive the sound gets to the card via the PCI bus (I presume). If I had an external drive connected to the PC via only a USB cable would the sound still be routed to the sound card?

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Shouldn't be a problem.
