Maybe I'm alone here, but until I'm stacked and can have a dedicated cinema room, I'm really not that fussed about getting anything more than decent two channel audio out of my TV.

Do any of the current crop of large CRTs stand out as having particularly good audio capabilities?

I use a Toshiba 36ZP48P for its sound quality. Very very good.

the sound from most crts is awful compared with even a budget all in one system. Once you have hooked up a sub and amp there is no going back!!!
