Sound drop-out on movie channel

    Hi tried to watch Harry Potter over the weekend but the sound dropped out for a couple of seconds every now and again.Does anybody else suffer this problem/have a fix.
    P.S This is only happened on the movie channel,twice now and. so far only with Harry potter.

    Sky+ 160 box by any chance? If so, it's a known problem with sound dropout on the movie channels wtih DD 5.1.

    I had this problem to. But my box is just one of the refurb V1 pace box. Harry potter sat night just the same.

    Looks like it's more likely a problem with the broadcast then rather than a problem with the box.

    When I spoke to sky they said it was a known problem and would be fixed in the next software update but if you put the digibox into stereo rather than DD it would fix the problem.

    The sound on my system hadnt as much as dropped but had completely gone for at least a month - I happened to try it again this weekend to find it was back but is now occasionally dropping out - put it back to stereo mode and it is now even dropping out in stereo.

    Dont know if this means a fix has been put in place but it hasnt fixed it or the original bug has changed slightly.
