After reinstalling nothing happens, i still get no sound. I have tried nearly all the drivers on there and I have come up with no results. Anybody know what has happend?

    Suggest you try older driver.

Check windows sound settings and also check any 3rd party sound software setting you may be using.

If no success try diff speakers (if possible).

Also try a different soundcard (if possible).

I think different sound card will be my best bet. I have tried countless drivers and still when I restart nothing happends. YOu think it could be a program conflict?
I dont have much installed though, Steam (Half life 2) and avast anti virus.

I am thinking this becasue steam is **** and it has had program conflicts before but oyu think it could stop sound working?
