    Hi,

Excuse my ignorance by I am fairly new to this.

I have blown the existing soundcard on my PC and am looking for a new one.

Could anyone recommend a card that can output digital to my amp via coaxal S/PDIF whilst still being able to output sound to my PC speakers via the standard 3.5mmm Jack.

I had orderded a SB 4.1 Digital card but have since cancelled this as I found out that it cannot do what I want.

    Many Thanks

Its usually only the top end cards that do simultaneous analogue and digital playback. I think the Maudio Revo and the Terratec Aureon 7.1 can do this.

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately my budget is very tight so I opted for a Philips Acoustic Edge from scan.co.uk

I'll let you know how I get on!
