    Hi guys,
I have just bought a second hand Pioneer DV-717. I have tried both the Scart and SVHS outs on the player, but get no picture at all. I think the previous owner used a projector. This there a way of being able to see a menu display to set to my equipment. Or a factory reset button? Please help. Thanks in advance.:lease:

You might need to connect the DVD-player to the TV with a composit (the yellow one) cable to be able to see a OSD menu.

The rear panel's video output switch setting is not correct.
To reset the player you migth try this. Have the player turned off, press and hold the Stop button and at the same time press Standby / ON
