Sound Bars

Hi All

Thinking about changing my cable intensive 5.1 for something less so like a soundbar for instance.

The Yamaha range looks promising. I'm unsure if it's right for me, as my TV is in a corner so is the yammy bar is practical.

I'd wait a little while an hope the Sony HT-Ct100 comes over...much better lookin not as fat, it does have a sub but the actual bar can sit under the tv on the stand.

Whats the difference between the YSP 1000 and the YSP 1100? Apart from price.

Fom what i can see they are both 120W and have the same inputs.

Hi Keri

I wonder if your seating arrangement is the same as mine. In my case two settees, one on long wall 16ft facing the fire (mine) the other is placed to the right of me under a large-ish window on a shorter wall 11ft. My partners.

Also do you use a seperate sub-woofer.
