I had SC 2 on the xbox. So this one should be a fun game. :)

Booo! They did that last time with the special characters on each version (though I wasn't particularly interested in playing as Link or Heihachi(sp?))

I was really looking forward to a Vader v Yoda battle:thumbsdow. It'll be interesting to see how they are interested to see how they play against the existing cast and I hope they don't make them too cheap.

Looks good.

But what I would REALLY like to see is a XBLA download of the original (and still the best) Soul Calibur from the Dreamcast. :smashin:

I have no doubt that Yoda and Vader will be released as downloadable content, the same way that the PS3 'exclusive' Green Gobin 2 was released for the 360 as DLC.

The game looks frickin' awesome though. I missed SC3 as I was on my Xbox by then but had some great memories of SC1 and SC2. Cannot wait for this and Yoda is more welcome than Vader anyways :)

I will be picking this up on Friday for sure. I won't buy anything from Play Asia any more [Mod Snip]Sorry but we can't really allow libellous statements like this here[End] but that is a good price if you trust them.

Can't wait to try this on Live I used to be almost unbeatable (amongst my friends) on Soul Cailbur II so am interested to see how I stand up to the best out there.

I loved SC2 and it nearly made me fail my exams in my 4th year of uni after epic all afternoon battles most days. Apparently this one is really good though they do have a few gripes and say Yoda is broken.

It wasn't when he posted 7 months ago!!!
Ah, missed the date!

Maybe he can say in a new thread they should release Bubble Bobble on XBLA and see if that comes true too.

Been playing this for a couple of hours. It's great fun and a worthy third sequel to the classic original. As for Yoda, he's a decent SC character but cannot be thrown which makes him a tough number to go up against. Still, it's damn satisfying playing as him once you've got used to his initially disconcerting diminutive size. The Story mode is pretty good as well with each character getting a few brief cutscenes and a long written introduction. Seeing Yoda taunt the final boss is as awesome as you'd expect.

It's worth noting that the game checks for available downloadable content when you start it up so there's no doubt in my mind that Vader will show up eventually.
