Sorting cds on an Ipod video

    I have an ipod video that I want to put a copy of an audio book called Pegasus in Space, it came on 16 cds and I want to sort it thus
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6
    7
    8
    9
    10

    but the stupid system will show it as that on itunes but when I put it on my ipod it comes up
    1
    10
    so If you listen to all cds it plays cd 1 then cd 10 which is not what I want I want to be able to listen to it in order. How do I do this? It will be a problem as I want to put Pride and Prejudice on it and that has 11 cds.

    The iPodLounge has some tutorials on making you own audio books so you get the features of restarting at the point you stopped listening etc.

    Instead of labelling like:
    1, 2, 3...

    try
    01, 02, 03

    Or, in the get info box, put in the disc numbers. It remains hidden, but sorts it in disc number.

    I put in 01, 02, 03 etc and on Itunes it comes up
    1
    2
    3 etc BUT when you look on the list on the ipod it comes up
    1
    10

    I have an Archos and iRiver and use Mp3tag to tag the files 01, 02, 03 and it works fine. I don't have iTunes so don't know how it does the tags, perhaps it doesn't accept 01, 02. If not you could try letter/number a1 - a9, b1 - b9 etc

    In iTunes right click the file you want and goto Get Info, i am sure you can do the rest ;)
