guys, apologies as im sure this has been asked/answered a million times before.

Interested in experimenting with Euro1080 on a PC. Currently have standard sky dish, with a spare LNB connection.

Will buy a card from DVBshop + get the software (understand that part), but can someone just confirm that Euro1080 is on the same Satellite that my dish is pointing too - or do i need a positioner ?

Simple yes/no response required please, im a noob to this side of things unfortunatly..... but nice to be learning something new !

    thx
    Kev

    Kev,

Euro1080 is broadcasting from the original Astra 1 position of 19.2E, whereas Sky Digital broadcasts from Astra 2 at 28.5E. I think you will need at least a 60cm dish. Hope this helps.
