    Hi all

A friend asked me to check out these two comeras so I really only have one question is there any reason why he shouldn'd go for either of these.

    Thanks

    Conor

Since I own a VX2000 I would have to say that it would be my choice of the two, although most 3 chip camcorders on the market are supposed to have a superb picture, I've heard that the 950 doesn't get as good a picture in poor light, whereas the VX excels in this department. You'd be spending a bit more for the VX2000, but considering the extra features it offers, it's well worth it. Tunes Man.

    Hi,
I Own a TRV-950, and I find it's ok under low light, but the VX2000 will be better under low light due to bigger CCD's.
The VX2000 is also £700 more than the TRV-950, so you get what you pay for.
