Hi all,
We're looking at upgrading from our current 49" Sony (KD-49XD8305) to a 65" OLED
Was just curious as to whether the XR65A80JU and the Currys XR65A84JU are just the same thing but with a different name to make it Currys exclusive?
Seem to be some better deals available for the A80 but just want to make sure I'm comparing like for like.
Also - wondering what the reality of burn in is for these screens? It will be used for gaming as well as movies and I can think of a couple of strategy games that get played for a couple of hours at a time which have some static elements on the screen. Probably max of 2 hours playing in one go. Is this likely to cause a problem?
Any thoughts on whether it's a good time to buy an OLED? I'm kind of assuming that prices for the next models coming out are going to be heading upwards.
Thanks for any advice
