Question Sony XH85 same as XH80?

There is a Sony TV around 1000 USD (KD-49XH8596B,KD-49XH8577) but i can’t find a review or specific info about this model. Is this model similar to XH80 (Contrast ratio and brightness etc). What is the difference?

Both are Edge LED
The XH85 draw more power
XH80 comes with ARC and Motionflow XR 400 Hz
XH85 comes with eARC/ARC and Motionflow XR 1000 Hz
On both xx77 comes in silver and xx96 in black

XH85 in 49" is a 100(120)Hz VA panel and also supports eARC ... (probably built with some better materials as well)
XH80 in 49" has an IPS panel and is a 50(60)Hz tv.

No, not all XH85xx tv's are VA panels. Most are IPS. But I don't know which is which.. I read some 8505 are Va.. But others like the 8596 and 8599 are IPS I think. And the 8577 has a grey bezel instead of black bezel.

There has never been a panel difference in these models before with Sony. Most sites are just lazy in their assumptions that 'the XH85' series has IPS panels ...
The quoted website here for example is the source of info these days for many yet it took them how long to change their info from IPS to VA for the 49" ?
In the very same topic you can find a Youtube video with evidence for the 8596 version having a VA panel as well: Sony 49XH8505 and 49XH8196 difference?

In the shop I thought the 8599 had good viewing angles.. So I thought it would be IPS. Yesterday my mother go the 49 xh8599 delivered. But I haven't been at her place. I think I could see it when the lights go out. My mother will have no Idea.. !! hahaha.. I just ordered this tv for her because of the viewing-angles I expect and she is sometimes sitting here and then there.. to the other side..
The pircie was 740 euro's.. Maybe the samsung q80t in 49 or 50 inch (800 euro's) would have been a better choice ??
But in the shop a 43 inch xh8599 was hanging next to a 48 inch LG Oled and next to that tv a 49 inch sony xh9505 tv. And the xh8599 was brighter (standard mode) than the oled. So I couldn't choose the oled over this sony in bright shop-area.. Maybe in house with less light.. the oled would be better but more as twice the price..

I believe the XH85 as Dolby Atmos.
