Sony XBR-X810 Series - NEW TV

Hiya guys,

Has anyone heard anything about this TV being introduced to the UK market any time soon?

4K Android TV | X80C/X81C | Sony US

I read a review about it over at Sony X810C Review (XBR55X810C, XBR65X810C) , but cannot seam to find more info about it. Would really appreciate it if someone can provide any valuable input.

Just found out that the EU version goes under the name of X8005C... Silly me.

Any idea what the panel is on the X8005C 49 inch? The 55 inch has an IPS panel, but I cannot find information on the 49 inch. In the US, the X810C 55 inch has a VA panel and the 65 inch an IPS one.

Where did you find the 55" uses an IPS panel? 49" only comes as IPS, 65" US is suspected to be IPS but technically unconfirmed.

I found out from this review about the US 65".

Can't remember where I read about the 55" EU one. So, the 49" comes with IPS and the 55" with VA panel?
