I am planning on buying a NW-HD5 or NW-A3000. My problem is I use Winamp as my media play so if I rip my CDs to atrac3plus they will be unusable except with sonicstage ( I Hate Sonicstage ). I would prefer to rip my collection to Atrac3plus as it is better than MP3. Does anyone know if Atrac3 plus can be used with another media player or do I just hope and pray that the new Connect player is a HUGE improvement on sonicstage. :lease:

You can use Media Player Classic to play atrac3 & atrac3+
    Download

I was also able to play atrac3+ with Windows Media Player 10

Tried media player classic, was a bit to basic. I can play atrac3plus tracks on windows media player but could not add them to the library, so its not much use. I will wait to see if the new connect player has a desent layout.

This is starting to worry me a little, I don't want to convert my entire CD collection into atrac3plus if I can't play it on my computer with a media play I like. I may end up having to use MP3 which is a shame because atrac3plus is so much better.
