Hi all,
I'd like to bring something up that's been bothering me. Hopefully someone here can give me some advice about what to do.
Lately I've been gaming a bit more and I started noticing these green and pink trails around high contrast areas of the screen with fase movement or panning in games. I see it when playing FIFA around players (mostly with red shirts against the green grass) and now also a lot in Mafia II.
I've also seen it with movies, but mostly when the quality was low, say up to 2GB encodings. I blamed it on the bad quality of the source, but it is really starting to annoy me and I'm wondering if this is normal and/or if there is something I can do about it by changing some settings.
I've already tried everything I can imagine, changing dynamic range of the TV to "Full", turning everything off in the "eco" section, setting my Xbox to "expanded" in the display settings, tuning contrast, ... I did notice a slight decrease during FIFA when turing up the contrast but then I don't like the image.
So, as a last resort, I'm coming here for some help from someone more knowledgable or at least an experience from another W905 owner.
I also made a few vids from the effect which u can view here:
Dropbox - w905
Especially in the last video it is quite horrible.
Thanks in advance.
