    Hi all,

I've narrowed down my choice of Freeview boxes to either the Sony VTX-D800U or Pioneer DBR-TF100. Both seem to be well regarded.

I plan to connect the RGB out of the box to a DVD/HDD recorder and the recorder to TV.

I presume both units can use scart pin 8 to wake up the recorder - but does this work on the "TV" scart, or only on the "VCR" scart? I'd like to record the RGB image from the "TV" scart...

Anything I may have overlooked which makes one of these units better than the other? The Sony is winning on the space-saving vertical stance, but I may have a temporary requirement for RF output, which the Sony can't do.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
