Sony vs KLH vs JBL (Subs)

I'm looking at getting a new subwoofer, and am trying to choose between a KLH 10" 120watt, Sony 12" 120watt and JBL 10" 150watt.

The JBL is floor firing, and the other two are front firing.

My current speaker setup is all KLH, but I don't know how good their subwoofer quality is (never owned one from them).

I've never owned a floor firing sub, so what is the difference? Since I've read it's not as loud unless you have hardwood floors (I have carpet).

I never really liked Sony TV's (Cheaply made), but I'm not familiar with their speaker quality. The JBL looks nice, but the floor firing thing may not be right for me.

Overall I like the way the sony one looks the best, and it seems to have the best specs of the 3 (all are around the same price, under 200).

    Any suggestions?
