It's rated at 2000 hours and 3000 hours with Cinema Black on.

What's realistic? Anyone use a bulb over 2000/3000 hours?

My bulb shows 2,370 hours and although the image is beginning to dull slightly, it's still very watchable.

I'm not sure whether to replace the bulb or replace the whole projector - I'm currently looking at the new Panny PT-AE2000. But then I would, of course, have to replace the DVD player too to get the best out of it.

Has anyone any experience of upscaling from a DVD player to a projector?
