Thanks for the review Phil. How would you rate the black levels against the 40ES? Where would you place it on a scale between the 40ES and the JVC X5000 the 40 being 1 and the JVC 10. Also how does it's motion handling compare against the JVC? Thanks

It's been said that the mild forced noise reduction can be overcome by switching on the input lag reducer, a few options disappear from the menus such as the Dnr settings but are there any issues for BD / 24p etc by using it ?.
      Thanks.

Also Phil, do you think you might be able to pass on to Sony about the forced noise reduction ?, perhaps they would consider a fix via a F/W update, that should be pretty easy for them I think.

The new Reality Creation works really well. Less noisy, more cleaner image which has almost a "4K feel", also blacks are slightly deeper than previous ES models (like 40, 50, 55ES).
Thought the machine runs noisier (due to higher light output) than the previous Sony's and blacks are far from JVC's. Good full HD projector if you can afford. :)

This sentence about Motionflow in the review is not clear for me:
We found that all added a soap opera effect to 24p images bar True Cinema which employs black frame insertion and a slight flicker to improve motion without any side effects of frame interpolation.
