I am selling my HW40 as I have bought an Epson 9300.
This has a brand new lamp as I sent it back to Sony for them to check the flicker which happens on these when run in low lamp mode all the time.
It has low hours anyway so a great unit and was a good upgrade and can't be beaten for the money.
"Is this a bargain at twice the price" - retail was £185
Sony Prime support until 25 Sept 2017.

The colour wheel on my Benq 1070 seems to have given up the ghost so on the look out for a sensibly priced upgrade and these Sony units seem to fit the bill. However money's tight as we've got a two week old son!

Any chance of a favour on the price? I'd be comfortable at closer to £750

I'm willing to take offers but that's a bit low at the moment. Thanks anyway.

6 years guarantee for only £40 - seems cheap of your happy with it.

What were you thinking on price?
I don't want to drop much more as it has a new lamp and the next decent projector above these is a lot more money. I would accept £925 collected.

Thanks for coming back to me, just a couple of questions:
A. Does it benefit from any remaining warranty
B. Has the flicker been resolved?
C. How many hours does the unit have?

Thanks

Yes the flicker has been resolved, there is remaining warranty until 25 Sept 2027. I will have to confirm the hours when I get home.

Certainly interested subject to the hours clarification.

I don't suppose you would be willing meet a little closer to either London? It's going to be an 8hour round trip to collect

Currently working 12 hour days with the odd day off so can't travel to meet up sorry.
I do have friends who might be able to help take it down south, they live near Chessington if that's any good?
