Updating my play room so am looking at moving my Sony VPL-HS60 projector on. Its currently out of the room but can be demoed. Gives a nice 720p picture from its 3 LCD panels for those that suffer from rainbow effect. 1 HDMI input

Since then I have racked it up to ~1300 hours need to confirm on its first bulb still (low power) so still got plenty of life. Complete with remote and manual and ceiling mount

The filter has been cleaned as per specs.

Looking for £150 collected, or can post at cost but do need to find a suitable shipping box, can demo if collected as required.

The screen is an Ellie electric screen its actually a 16:10 screen so and viewing area is ~183 x 114cm and so I can go a bit bigger.

When I picked it up though it wasn't obvious at the time there were roller marks, which is common and even in the instructions, though they haven't completely faded with time.

None of this is visible at normal viewing distances and doesn't affect picture quality.

As it is very well built including Somfy motor I would be after £40 collection only.

    Photos on request

    Price and currency: £150
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: Bank Transfer \ PayPal
    Location: Knutsford, Cheshire

Do you mean on the screen if so, its ~2m long, which is a 4 core cable. This has neutral, eartch and two lives (up and down), which come from a wall mounted switch that moves it up and down. Additionally I do have a 12V relay box that is wired in at the moment and some additional 4 core cable but wasn't planning on selling that.

If you mean projector then I did have a 10m one but that is physically installed in situ. I can supply a normal kettle lead plug and will try and find the longest I have ~2m. You can get the cheap on the net though.

No, I don't have one so haven't, no reason why it shouldn't work fine though.

I have however used my PS3 on it via HDMI and I must say playing GTA 5 on it was great on a projector screen. Though flying a plane and barrel rolling can make you get motion sickness.

Ok no worries, basically the projector has inputs for HDMI, component, composite (I think) and PC input so you can hook up as you see fit and use the remote to switch between them as required. I have all my sources plugged into my AV receiver and a single HDMI lead from the receiver to the projector. The projector has no speakers and only does 720P which is fine for game playing.

In terms of noise, yes it produces fan noise but its relative, projector central quote it as 23dB but not sure whether that is on high lamp mode or not as the fan does speed up. It depends how prone you are to it and where it is positioned, it personally doesn't bother me as its expected from a pj. (Unlike my TV which does make noise ....)

You could always come up for a demo, though it would be a bit adhoc and then it saves packaging it and risking delivery.

The problem I have is the projector would be mounted on ceiling directly above me in the bay window. Where abouts are you?

Yes that's how I had it it was directly above my sofa so pretty much the same. You can hear it but when you are playing games and watching films you won't notice it as much. Its much quieter than a data\PC projector.

I am in Knutsford so an hour and quarter (?) away from you judging by your profile.

Ok no worries, let me know. Just noticed your signature, I was using the Kef 2005.2 speakers as my surround with this setup.

From memory there is one pixel that appeared to be stuck on possibly but I haven't checked in great detail recently. Its not noticeable though under normal use and from normal viewing position. Other than that its working fine no issues. Only reason I want to sell is that I am upgrading all my equipment to 1080p which it doesn't support and I share sources between multiple rooms and it would bring everything else down to 720p. If it didn't I would keep.

Any sort of movement on price? Looking for something to take abroad and not sure if it will work etc so not looking to spend much! Also, has it got a case or anything else? Based in London so would have to be delivery...

According to the instructions it will take 100 - 240V at 50/60Hz so it will work fine abroad. It doesn't have a case (or original box) as its a home cinema one so not designed to carry round like a PC one. That's not to put you off it would do what you want but it doesn't have any speakers either so not sure if that is essential to you.

In terms of price I might be able to include shipping in that price if I can get some packaging.

Was just asking as it would assist in terms of taking it abroad! Will be connected to a TV and amp or speakers etc so not concerned with no speakers.

Think I will pass for now - like I said it's more than I am looking to spend at the moment. GLWTS!

Had a bit more of a think about this - can I just ask:

    - Is it a universal mount or specific to this projector?
    - does it come with power cable/HDMI lead?

Hi, its a universal mount so will fit other projectors as well. Its height adjustable but will have to measure it to check what height it can go from\to.

I can throw in a power cable, but will be a standard length one. Its a standard kettle lead so quite easy and cheap to pick up. My HDMI lead and power lead are "fixed" in the wall and ceiling so I can't remove, they weren't the original ones anyway.

You can pick up a new HDMI cable pretty cheap depending on the length required.

The projector was over £2k new as well forgot to mention.

I need to obtain a suitable box and packaging for shipping before a firm commitment as I don't want it to get damaged in transit.

Would want £150 as well as I will be losing out including shipping now.

I'll let you find out about box/packaging etc. I am happy for it to be sent with a slower delivery method if it helps save on your shipping costs and can meet you in the middle at £145 but that's as high as I can go!

I have found a suitable box to ship this, though still need to acquire lots of bubble wrap as I seem to have thrown all mine out in a recent garage tidy.

I will accept £145 by bank transfer and I will arrange a courier to collect probably Friday as I can't guarantee that I will be able to get the bubble wrap in time for a tomorrow collection.

It doesn't matter that much what speed I use I think but will check, do you want it to be delivered to your house or something like Collect + ?

Let's move to PM for the finer details.

That's fine - no rush! Collect plus is fine - if you pm me details I will make payment first thing in the morning.

As an aside, presume you still have no way of shipping screen?

Thanks, will PM you my details.

No unfortunately not for the screen, the usual things for shipping a screen is a carpet roll but for the money I am getting for it isn't worth the hassle, plus I would want to demo it to the person buying it as to advise how it needs to be wired up.
