Sony Vegas - best place to buy?

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting Sony Vegas Platinum 9 to edit footage from my HF100 as the software that comes with it seems pretty pants.

I want to get it as economically as possible - it seems cheaper in the U.S. can I buy a U.S. version or will that cause issues?

No they are identical. However just how much cheaper is it..

I guess it isn't as cheaper as I thought it was! Would be better if the exchange rate was better....
