Sony TRV33 lenses?

    Can you screw extra lenses on the sony trv33 , i.e. can you put a wide angle lens on it? How much are they?

    I udertsand you cant with the TRV22 is this true?

    Yes the TRV33 accepts supplementary lenses, whereas the TRV22 did not. According to the spec. I read the thread inside your lens is 30mm diameter and you require a lens with that thread, unfortunately they are not to common BUT fortunately step up rings and 37mm dia wide angle lenses are, what you need is something like :-

    You can get wider angle lenses but you begin to see distortion known as 'barrelling' if you go much wider.


    These are just suggestions if you do a google search for something like "Wide Angle lenses" I'm sure you will find plenty of alternatives.
