    Hello all

I'm having a bit of bother getting the Sony STRK880 + Philips 37PF5521D/10 to work together regarding HDMI (sony) and DVI (philips) connections.

Connecting DVD audio via OPtical to the a/v receiver and the surround works fine. Connected the a/v to the tv via HDMI to DVI-D cable and I get 'no input signal' or 'video mode not supported'. I have connected my xbox360 to the TV via a VGA cable with a DVI-adapter and it works fine via the PC input so I know that the DVI input on the TV is working fine. I noticed that the DVI end of the 360 to TV connector appears to be a DVI-I connection. I think that this is the problem with the rest of the system.

I've been hunting about and I can't seem to find an HDMI to DVI-I cable or adaptor. Is this the correct road to be going down or has anyone else any experience with the situation?

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm trying to get this sorted before everything grinds to a halt for xmas!

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob
