    Hi

I have the Sony STRDN1060 amp with SKY TV connected to the SAT HDMI port and PS4 connected to the GAME HDMI port. I also have a Jamo C9 Center channel speaker with two additional speakers connected left and right. The amp is connected by HDMI to a 49 inch Sony Bravia KD49X8309 TV.

The SKY TV works fine and the sound is fantastic but when playing the PS4 I lose the picture for a split second and then it comes back. This seems to occur approximately every 90 seconds.

    I have tried the following:

    Different HDMI cables
    Different HDMI ports
Updated firmware on my TV, PS4 and amp
    CEC was already turned off
My TV is not 3D so I can't turn off 3D detection
HDMI cables are HDMI with Ethernet and are good quality.

For the problem to occur like clockwork it makes me think there is some optimisation running causing this interference.

    Any suggestions?

Have you got 'auto scene detect' switched on the Sony TV?

I had something similar but it only effected me when a game started up, or the Playstation button was pressed (to get to the dashboard). My Sony TV was detecting some sort of input change and was trying to change picture settings to suit resulting in the screen flashing black.

Think I've got it working. The port on the back was faulty. I switched to another hdmi and it works.

    Thanks.
