SONY STRDG820 or SONY STR DH800

I don't think there are any important differences, as far as I can remember the newer 800 introduced compatibility with Sony's (expensive) S-Air wireless speaker system.

You can compare the two here: LINK

You can use the STRDH800's unused back speaker terminals in conjunction with the front left and right terminals to bi-amp bi-wirable front left and right speakers with. The STRDG820 lacks this.

As already mentioned by davepuma, the STRDH800 has an S-AIR port not present on the STRDG820.

Dante, excuse the novice question but what is "bi-amping". What benefit does this give to the front speakers?
