I bought a Sony STR-DE697 the other day, but had planned on buying the Azur. Thought i'd save the £50, and see what it was like (can always return it).
Considering i use it for 70% movies at least, will there be a vast improvement in sound quality from the Azur? Also consider £50 as a lot to me, a 17 year old student!
Since buying the Sony, I have seen many people slate it on here, and although i love it, the only thing i can compare it to is a Sherwood RD-6106R for surround sound quality.
Also does the Azur have dts NEO:6 as I am well impressed with this over Dolby Pro Logic II (in which i find voices leak into the left and right channels almost constantly, and even the rear a lot of the time)

    Thanks for your time
