I looked for ages at this amp to replace my Sony STRDB930. Still could not find a review. Ended up getting a Pioneer 912. I recommend that one if you liked the Sony

I have not seen any reviews but i have got one,

i have had the 930 and the 1070 as well as the 790 for a while also.

i will say that the 2000 is deffo better then the rest both on paper and to my ears.

i have used the 1070 with b&w dm602s3 and mission m5as and then upgraded to the 2000 model.

my bro has the denon 3802 amp wich is very good, but i would say that you would not be able to hear much of a difference between the 2.

the look is a little different from the other models sony have brought out and the remote is a little bland but works better then the older models remote.

i would reccomend the amp as long as you don't pay full price, its does seem lighter then the old 930 and 1070 but it is supposed to be better on paper.

    i hope this helps

    Ian T.
