In the set up menu just tell it that you don't have a rear centre speaker.

Digital Co-axial cable as the deocder in the amp is likely to be better than the one on your DVD player

hey laustin - dont forget you can have 'phantom' 6.1 without the centre rear speaker - like IanJ says - tell the set up that you have no centre rear - but then when you are playing a DVD - activate 6.1 decoding (cant do that when your on AFD, try Normal Surround or Cinema Studio B sound format) and the 1070 will produce a 'phantom' speaker where your 6.1 would be.

Obviously its not as good as having one, but better than nothing?

    Hope this helps.
