    Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me out?

    I've just bought a Sony SS1100 amp/speakers and a Bravia 32D3000 TV.

I've rigged it all up with my PS3 as well via HDMI and optical in to the amp, but when I play games or watch DVD's in surround sound, the sound keeps skipping and cutting out for 1/4 of a second or so. This doesn't happen in 2 channel, just 5.1. I've set my PS3 to output to optical in 5.1, 5.1 DTS, AAC and the default linears of 44.1 and 48khz.

Have I set something up wrong, or do I have a faulty unit? ANy help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Ben

    2 things you could try.

Move the PS3 to the 2nd optical input, you will probably have to connect
the PS3 HDMI directly to the TV to test this.

Play a DVD with a DTS sound track and see if you get the same problem.
