Hi all,

I bought a Sony SR35e but the disc that comes with it is missing, three things i want to ask:

What is on the disc?

What software is on the disc that edits the footage? and

Where can i get this software or equivalent?

Thanks

Think the software is Sony Picture Motion Browser, anyone know where I can get this free or if they can recommend another software I can use for editing?

Yes it is Picture Motion Browser along with the manual and registration links.

I googled and could only find the software for sale even on the Sony site,I seem to remember lots of people trying to get this software from Sony for free but without any luck.

The editing capabilities of Picture Motion Browser is very basic,I have the same camera and I use adobe Premiere Elements 4 which is excellent, but there are lots of video editing programs out there, depends how much you want to do and how much you want to pay.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
John.

Notwithstanding your request to John,

There is a very long thread on PMB.
If you can get your clips onto your PC without PMB I wouldnt be too worried about using it to edit( or not)
There are far better alternatives.
To find our what you can do with Premiere Elements ( now ver 7 though 4 is capable and possibly much cheaper now) have a little look

Thanks Senu,

I will have a play with PMB for now, get to grips with the editing then look into that Adobe software. It does look very good and easy to use though i must say. I will probobly buy that later on.
