    Hello,

Has anyone tried to connect a better quality speaker cable to the sony dav-s550? The speaker cable that comes with it looks a bit flimsy but on the actual cable bit that connects to the system there are sony specific connectors. Does this mean that it would be nigh on impossible to connect better quality cable?

I'm quite surprised that sony have done that or do they think that the difference in sound would be so nominal with better cable that they are doing people a favour by covering them up?

Any help or experiences would be appreciated

    James

Its me again! Well your don't really have to stick to it becuase the connectors have two holes and the wires just pull out of them with slight force, however i would stick with them. I have extended my cables with extra wire but not replaced. I find it fine though, the s550 is rated for high sound quality.
