Has anyone else noticed how almost all Sony or Sony Ericsson phones tend to have inferior paint-jobs which wear very easially?

For as long as I can remember, Sony phones tend to suffer really badly from wearing ~ Especially phones which have neat lines, such as the S700i...

I find it mostly on silver coloured phones, such as the S700i, T68i, and J6 Etc... The silver paint seems to wear off really quickly leaving a nasty clear-white coloured plastic beneath it on show... Often happens along edges or on the corners of certain models...

I also found the same thing used to happen on the buttons of my Sony MZR55 Mini-Disc Walkman ~ The paint would wear off and leave a black coloured button...
