    Hi !

I'm considering buying the Sony SLV-SE820 or 720 VCR. Info/user feedback is a little sparse on the net.

Does anyone have experience with this VCR. Is it any good ?

    Regards,

I have the 720 version, and have not used it too much.

However when I have, I have found the picture and sound to be first class. Very easy to set-up too and use, even the other half has mastered it!!

You can't really go far wrong with it!

Not too sure about the 820 sorry, I presume it's the same machine with a couple of extras.

Never really noticed it on mine, in fact I think it's quite quiet. That is compared to my old Samsung VCR.

The only time you really notice the noise is when it rewinds, at great speed.
