Thinking of buying Sony SAVS300H Home Cinema Speaker System SONSAVS300H, whats your views on this speaker set?

They look good. For casual film listening they would probably be ok, for music or serious (regular and loud) film I would probably look elswhere and consider spending more. I did not enjoy using my SAVE205 speakers, I have given mine away for use as surrounds in a mates system. The sub gathers dust and I would not inflict it on anyone. However I did use the sub from the 7 series speakers to reasonably good effect and that I do eventually intend to sell.
