Hi there,

I have a question which i cannot find out a definitive answer to so far.

I am interested in buying the Sony NV U92. I believe that this is charged by usb connection to your computer. I have an apple macbook at home.

Is the charging and or software only for Windows?

Anyone got one of these or another Sony sat nav that they are using with macs???

thanks a lot

as far as i know, the u82 or u92 doesnt come with a mains adapter, just a usb lead for charging, and a cigarette lighter adapter for in car power.

can anyone here confirm this or not?

in case anyone else wants to know, the answer as far as i can tell (having got the u92 at the weekend) is that you cannot charge the device via usb on a macbook, the software disc only has programs for a pc.

come on sony... lots of apple computers out there now... cant you release software for that as well?
