This might seem a stupid question to the more experienced, but I've done lots of searches, and can't find a definite answer 
I'm about to take delivery of the G900.
I have a Humax Freeview+ PVR 9300T which I also want to integrate into the setup. I want to connect the Humax to the TV directly by Scart, as my TV will make a better job of upscaling than the Humax over HDMI. But, I want the sound via the G900 ....
The G900 will take "Digital Optical" input, (looking at the manual I downloaded); the 9300T will output SPDIF Digital.
Now for the question (finally) :-
Is SPDIF Digital the same as Digital Optical ? i.e., is this one & the same cable that I need to buy?
