I wouldnt be suprised if that information was wrong. From what I can tell this new "walkman" is pretty similar to the hd5. Remote does look nice, but the amount of functions it has make it pretty useless, imo

    LCD NO
Number of Lines in LCD 0.0
    Volume Control (+/-) YES
    Play / Stop/ FF / FR / Pause YES
    Group/Album NO
    Hold YES
    Display NO
    Play Mode NO
    Repeat NO
    Sound NO
    Navi (Navigation) NO
    Menu NO
    Enter NO

Pretty basic really. And it'll probably cost 50 quid. Might as well stick with the RM35.

Gee, it does play/pause/FF/REV and volume? A waste of money.

The 35ELK remote is just about as sleek, and it does all you need with a true remote-- 1-line display, sound modes (select and adjust), track and album select, shuffle/repeat modes, etc. And did I mention it has a display so you can actually select songs/albums without pulling the main player out?

And you can probably get the 35ELK for under 20 pounds ($30) these days on eBay, shipped.

ah, so the 35ELK works fully with the NW-HD5?

I wasn't sure that the LCD on it would function properly since its originally for minidisc players.

I think thats the better option then, it looks to be cheap on eBay
    cheers :smashin:
