SONY RDRHXD 710 DVD Recorder +160GB

I have been ofered one of these (SONY RDRHXD 710 DVD Recorder +160GB) by a shop for £150, it an Ex-shop demo model.

Not had one of these hard disc/dvd recorders before, does anyone think this is a must buy at this price or are there others worth considering?

Any opinoins on this machine would be helpful as it I presume that it will not be there for long.

I have the 910 which was the model above which has a 250GB HD and an HDMI output which the 710 doesn't I beleive.
I have had mine for 2(?) years now and paid about £500,the 710 was cheaper than that, about £400ish if I remember.
So £150 for an ex-display model which could be 2 years old?
I wouldn't.

the 710 is a great machine - but it has a few bugs and I find it slow to react

Not a great deal by any means for that age of machine
