Hi Everyone,
This is my first post and I hope someone can help me.
I am looking for a DVD recorder with HDD and have looked at the Liteon LVW-5045 but after reading a number of adverse reviews on Amazon, I have now turned my attention to either the Sony RDRHX510 or RDR-HX710. So far the reviews I have read seem far more consistent (mostly good as opposed to the 50/50 ratio of the Liteon). I would welcome further comments good or bad from anyone who has brought either of the Sony recorders.
I have also just become aware of some exciting new models from Hitachi - DV DS161E and DV DS81E, which are multi format and have other new features. If anyone has brought one of these I would also welcome your views.
Also, can anyone tell me the best and cheapest place to get either of the recorders. In particular any info about online companies with a good reputation and that can be trusted would be very helpful.
