Also, Do I need to buy multi-region or is there a hack?

I'm also interested in any feedback on this unit. Cheapest (online) I've found is Digital Direct for £245.89

The words Sony and Cheap don't very often appear in the same sentence.
For a mix of quality and price get the Pioneer 220.£170

like you would expect from Sony it is a very intutive and intelligent machine that is consistent and easy to use. dearest around without HD though, so expect your wallet to be hit hard

i had to return two of these (gx300) as HQ mode would not record properly , the sound cut in and out when played back on any pc. no one else has reported this so maybe my local dixons had a bad batch. i eventually ordered the Panny E85 online instead

    Hi

Has anyone found the hack to make it multi-region yet.....................mates got one with his 32 LCD TV, but he can't play my MR DVD's.

Is there a site that lists hacks for MR?

    Cheers, Tam
