    Hi,

I know "Aerial Out" is possibly the lowest quality connection but for my own set up I need to get this signal out of my RDR-HXD860. I am having problems with tuning my TV to receive the aerial out signals from this player (e.g. while the player is playing a DVD I am unable to watch it by tuning my TV to its coax signal).

Is there someone out there who has got this connection to work on this player?

    Many thanks

On most DVD recorders and for that matter Freeview boxes, the Aerial Out is purely a loop through from the Aerial In to pass through the analogue signals only.

You will need an RF modulator such one of the three here:

As above, the sony like the panasonics and pretty much all new DVD recorders does not output an RF, it just loops the aerial through.
